About Mr. Brennan
Hello Everyone!!! My name is Michael Brennan and this is my tenth year teaching special education and mathematics. Although, I have had many experiences in the field, I can truly say that every year brings new challenges to look forward to. This will be my seventh year as a Learning Support Teacher at Palmerton High School, after three as a third grade learning support teacher at Panther Valley.
I was born and raised in the Tamaqua Area, and attended Wilkes University, where I earned a degree in elementary and special education, as well as playing college baseball for the Colonels. In 2014, I achieved my Masters in Education and Special Education Supervisory Certificate. I am also certified to teach mathematics and co-teach classes here at Palmerton in the areas of Algebra 1 and 2. Outside of school, I enjoy playing golf, as well as co-coaching the golf team here at Palmerton. In the winter, I am an assistant basketball coach at my alma mater, Marian Catholic. I enjoy watching and cheering for all Philadelphia Sports Teams as well as being a die-hard Penn State fan. When not at work or coaching, I am spending time with my wife Ashley and our son, Lucas. I look forward to the up coming school year and the great experiences that will come along with it!!!! |
